There's a ring of people/bots which spam illegal shit (CSAM) on all small imageboards that allow anonymous posting, it's pretty horrible.
Currently we block known phrases they use, link shorteners, image hashes and monitor as much as we can.

I think something is wrong with the IRC. Whenever I try to connect to it, it immediately disconnects and gives me the reply as "U".
I have tried both the clearnet and onion versions, to no avail.
I would also like to add that this same issue also exists with the lainchan IRC.
What is going on?

Not nixx but from my experience there hasn't been any connectivity issues in a long time. In other words nothing really has happened but perhaps an error on your end?

Sorry about the late reply, been kinda down and preoccupied in meatspace. In any case, can't say I've come across that before.

Last I checked Lainchan had password protected channels, but I'm doing no such thing. Not changed the config at all in the last two weeks, and certs are renewed automatically. All the regulars have still been online so I don't think anyone else had the same issue.

Tis a mystery, but I'm glad it's working?
